Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of it's many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills and valleys with lush , green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail pets are made young again.
Those who are maimed are made whole again and they play all day.
There is only one thing missing.
They are not with their special person who loved them on earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly looks up.
The nose twitches! The ears are up!
The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen and when you and your special friend meet,
you take them in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusted friend.
And you cross the Rainbow Bridge together,
never again to be separated.

Call-name: Moraya (An Egyptian name which translates to "Whispering Wind")
Having retired from a racing circuit in Kansas, Moraya had been placed twice by other adoption groups before the accidental meeting in which she chose ME to be her Forever Mama. I guess you could say she'd gone from race hands to wrong hands but then, as a God-given "loaner" (and yes, “a leaner”), she'd raced into mine! (Thank you, God!) I'd like to think a piece of Moraya is firmly rooted here in my heart where she and I, her Papa, and two fur-sisters reside in the foothills of South Carolina. Despite the fact that destiny dictates the moment in time in which Moraya was to shadow the heels of other angels in an even more glorious realm (Heaven!), I tearfully say this ... "They" may have her spirit but "I" have her MEMORY! Though I miss my beautiful brindle fur-girl more than words could ever express, it gives me greyt joy knowing her youthful appearance has been restored and that she's now frolicking "at the bridge" free of pain with no earthly restraints whatsoever.
Till we meet again, sweet baby ... I LOVE YOU! May your peace become my peace.

Lobo - Jan 1997 - June 8 2007
We wanted to let everyone know that our beloved greyhound, LOBO, lost his brave struggle with bone cancer. He was so sweet, never complained, and gave us so much love. We are heart-broken and will miss him greatly. Ken and Sharon Spiegel
